A resale business is usually a registered company (as in our case) that purchases goods, marks up the prices and sells them for a profit. Retailers are also considered resellers, as they resell goods to end consumers.
We currently operate a private home-based business in Tampa, so we are completely mobile. Meet-ups take place either in public, your home or your business.
Like pawn shops, we comply with state/federal laws and regulations. We require government–issued photo identification and a signature on a purchase agreement we provide to avoid buying stolen property.
Absolutely not. Our purchase agreements are kept strictly confidential and are used for record and bookkeeping purposes only. We also restore any electronics we buy to their original factory settings and erase any personal information before we resell them. We do, however, recommend that you permanently delete any sensitive data yourself before selling your device.
Most items we purchase are sold online to other consumers.
Yes. We often buy smartphones, smartwatches, laptops and desktops that are nonworking, broken/cracked, have water damage...etc. We'll occasionally buy other damaged electronics as well. All these devices are sold for parts to dealers and other buyers.
